Bayo Atelier

Philippines Hall: National Gallery Stand: SF-N20

Their humble beginnings started in the ‘90s with the vision to empower Filipinas through fashion. In the 30 years since, we've proudly dressed generations of women through their life's milestones. Today, we weave the same purpose into every piece with a newfound focus: marrying our brand's artisan past with future-forward technology focused on sustainability.

Bayo is a participant-member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), with active involvement through its local network, Global Compact Network Philippines. Bayo also sits in the local network's board of trustees.

BAYO ATELIER: A Space for Designers & Crafters to Create Unique Designs

With the intention of creating a permanent space to showcase local handcrafted fabrics from communities across the Philippines, the Bayo Atelier was launched in 2023. Here, fashion enthusiasts can choose from a selection of handcrafted fabrics and create bespoke pieces.

Bayo Atelier carries stories of sustainability, heritage, and family. From the mannequins designed with Bakong, the regenerative fabric that Bayo Foundation developed in collaboration with the Design Center of the Philippines, to the handwoven fabrics offered that carries stories from each weaver and their place of origin
