Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Limited, popularly known as‘Co-optex’ has been functioning under the Handlooms & Textiles Department of the Government of TamilNadu since 1935.
Co-optex is a homegrown multi-million business enterprise, representing over 2 lakh artisans & weavers whom all come under more than 1000 Weavers’ Cooperative Societies which are spread across the state o fTamilNadu.
