Tweeds & Jacquards

Tweed is traditionally, an extremely warm, hard-wearing fabric that is thick and stiff. It is found in a variety of colors and patterns generally with small squares and vertical lines. This fabric is associated with Scottish and Irish style, and is used in jackets, suits, and more.

In addition, we manufacture tweeds using recycled wool. Recycled wool yarn is made majorly from post-consumer waste. the waste is given a new life by being spun into yarn and then woven into new fabrics. These fabrics have a substantial positive impact on the nature with reduction of the waste going to the landfills.

These fabrics have wide GSM range from 250 to 800 gm, used for making shirts, jackets , shackets , coats etc. in multiple patterns like plaids , herringbones , houndstooth etc.

Jacquard fabrics are available in damasks, floral, curvy, and geometrical designs. Both sides of jacquard wool fabric can be used in manufacturing clothes or decorative items. Jacquard weaves varying drape ability and durability depending on which fibers are used. Jacquards can be made from worsted, woolen or regenerated yarns.
