The circular economy is not a new concept, but consumers and fashion brands alike are starting to reconsider their involvement within the cycle. Do fashion brands need to create apparel by thinking about what happens to it at end of life? There are lots of materials and components that have an environmental impact beyond the obvious, and this also needs to be considered.'' This panel will discuss the importance in creating clothes from materials that are long-lasting but also recyclable ' ultimately creating with the end in mind. It will also focus on how brands can support customers in contributing to a circular economy, tangibles solutions to extending the lifespan of your garments and what to do when products reach end of life.
